Steven M. Ortiz, M.D.

Dr. Ortiz is the Director of the Arizona Spine and Sports Center.  He was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM.  He received both his undergraduate degree in Medical Technology and his medical degree at the University of New Mexico.  He did his specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.  He is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. 

Shimul Bansal Sahai, M.D.

Dr. Sahai joined our practice in September 2007.  She was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH.  She received an undergraduate degree in Combined Sciences at Youngstown State University.  She received her medical degree with Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.  She did her specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabiliation at Virginia Commonwealth Universities in Richmond, VA.  She then went on to complete a fellowship in Pain Management at Temple University in Pittsburgh, PA.  She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Lorraine Sobek, P.T, D.P.T.

Dr. Sobek joined our practice in August, 2007.  She was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN.  She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Sciences at Ball State University.  She then attended the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa where she received a doctrate in Physical Therapy.
